SMS Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the text messaging (SMS) program operated by E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing ("we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms. They apply only to our text messaging program.
Program description
E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing operates a customer care text messaging program for people who have scheduled, or are scheduling, service work with us.
Types of messages you will receive:
Appointment reminders for work you have scheduled with us.
Appointment status notifications — confirmations, reschedules, cancellations, and crew-arrival updates for a scheduled appointment.
Replies to questions you text us about a scheduled appointment.
We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising text messages. Every message we send is tied to an appointment you have with us.
How you opt in
You consent to receive text messages from E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing by telling us so on the phone when you schedule an appointment. Before recording your consent, our staff will read you a disclosure covering what messages you will receive, how often, that message and data rates may apply, and how to get help or stop the messages. We record the date, the number, and who took your consent.
This is the only way to opt in. We will never send you a text message asking for permission to text you — your consent is recorded before we send anything.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only in connection with a scheduled appointment; you will typically receive one to three messages per appointment. If you have no appointment scheduled, you will not receive messages.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to messages you send and receive. E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing is not responsible for those charges.

Opting out
Text STOP to (502) 585-4428 to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further text messages from us unless you opt in again.
We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. To resume messages after opting out, reply START or call our office.
Opting out of text messages does not cancel your appointment. We may still contact you by phone or email about work you have scheduled.
Delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network and on our messaging provider. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, and you should not rely on text messages as your only source of appointment information.
Not for emergencies
Do not use this text messaging service for emergencies. For an urgent matter, call us at (502) 585-4428. For an emergency, call 911.
Privacy
Information collected through this program is handled in accordance with our SMS Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared.
Scope
These Terms apply only to our text messaging program. Contracts for service work — scope, pricing, payment, and warranty — are governed by the separate written agreement for that work.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date above will change when we do.
